the vessel's displacement was 9,900 gross registered tons. She was
eventually broken up in Taiwan in 1972. |

Pictured in the lock at Swansea some time
during the 1950's is the m.v. 'Wellpark', operated by the Denholm Shipping
Company. Built on the Clyde in 1946 by Charles Connell & Co., she was
6,722 gross rgistered tons. Her name was changed to the 'Inver' in 1958
and to the 'Dogan' in 1962, and she was eventually scrapped in 1980. |
