                            Retired Docks Staff Website

This website is run by former employees of Associated British Ports at Swansea & Port Talbot who meet up once a month to visit sites of interest, or to engage in various activities such as bowls, golf or ten-pin bowling. This is usually followed by lunch and a few glasses of ale at a hostelry of our choice. Over the last few years we have held a Christmas Lunch at local venues such as the ‘Cape Horner’, and have been joined by existing docks personnel and many other retired members of staff.

Although first designed to document our group’s various activities and annual festive lunches, the website has now grown to incorporate many photographs and articles on the history and development of Swansea and Port Talbot Docks. And it’s still growing! If you have any comments to make, or perhaps have photographs or other items relating to Swansea or Port Talbot Docks that you would like to put on the website, please contact Ian Rogerson or Ivor Lewis on the contact link below:-
